Bath PropsnnThere is no limit to the creative possibilities that Bath Props can add to your bathing repertoire. Think in terms of the mood you are trying to create and let your imagination go wild.nnHere are a few ideas to get you started:nnROMANTIC BATHnn * A sensuous bath blend such as Erotique AromatheraBath (http://www.vineandweaver.com/erotique.html) or Rosewood Geranium Bath Latte (http://www.vineandweaver.com/rosewood-geranium.html) or a few drops of a sultry essential oil such as Jasmine or Ylang ylang. If the bath is uncolored, you may wish to add a few drops of food coloring. (red for pink water and a little blue to make it lavender)n * Candles and/or lanterns. Lots of them. (If you have space around your tub without burning the house down) Use scented candles that harmonize with your bath blend or unscented if you have enough fragrance in the air already. If your tub is very large and you don't plan on making too many waves, floating candles are a nice touch. Use pink or red candles for heightening passion.n * Music. Choose your favorite. Something soft and soothing, something that evokes treasured memories or something with a throbbing heartbeat to stir up the action. (You will not, of course, put any electric appliance anywhere near the water. Electrocution is not the "turn-on" we're after here!)n * Beverage. Wine, champagne, fruit juice, sparkling water or tea. Cold or hot to suit the season. Mimosas (one part champagne, one part orange juice, served in a champagne flute) are nice in a Romantic Bath.n * Snack. Smoked Oysters, Caviar, Chocolate covered strawberries, Chocolate truffles, fresh mango, or any other sinful delight. (A can of whipped cream can be fun...)n * Reading. Perhaps a book of poetry or erotic stories. Reading outloud to eachother is an uncommon delight.n * Sponge or washcloth or luffa. I favor a large Sea Sponge in a Romantic Bath, for those hard to reach areas that a partner can scrub for you.n * A handful or 2 of fresh rose petals tossed in the bath make a very nice effect.n * Lots of big, soft, fluffy towels.nnnnTROPICAL ISLAND VACATION BATHnn * A sweet tropical bath such as Tropic Bath Soda (http://www.vineandweaver.com/tropic.html)or SoftoBath Herbal Bath Bag (http://www.vineandweaver.com/softobath.html)or a few drops of an exotic essential oil such as Neroli or Sandalwood.n * Candles.Bright, tropical colors such as orange, hot pink, turquoise and purple.n * Music. Environmental recording of the sound of the sea or rain forest birds, lively Samba or Salsa music, Hawaiian hula music, Reggae or even Harry Belafonte singing Day-O!n * Beverage. Pina Coladas, Tequila or Rum drinks, tropical juices such as passionfruit, mango, pineapple, coconut and guava, with or without sparkling water.n * Snack. Fresh coconut or any of the fruits listed above and bananas, peeled oranges, key lime pie.n * Flowers. Float fresh Gardenias in the water.nnnnCOZY WINTER BATHnn * A warm hunkering down bath like Spice! Bath Soda (http://www.vineandweaver.com/spice.html)or Chai Tea Bath Latte (http://www.vineandweaver.com/chai-tea.html) or a few drops of cinnamon or anise essential oil.n * Lantern or candles. An old fashioned oil lamp is just the thing. Spicy scented or Bayberry type candles in rich jewel-tone colors like forest, cranberry, plum and gold.n * Music. Classical, choral or chamber music, folk music or Enya or Loreena McKennitt.n * Reading. Something by Charles Dickens or Jack London or "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon.n * Beverage. Hot mulled wine or cider, hot chocolate, mocha or chai, eggnog, irish cream, hot buttered rum, brandy or hot lemon and honey toddies. Cranberry juice or sparkling cider.n * Snack. Ginger snaps, candied ginger, fruitcake, chocolate fudge, mince pie, shortbread, pomegranate.n * Big soft towels and/or a large sheepskin in front of a roaring fire.
