You need a break from the hectic lifestyle that comes with living in a city. So why not take this break as an opportunity to embrace nature in its most beautiful form? Make your way towards Karnataka, where you will find valleys, falls and forests, temples, palaces and forts. Here, you will find something for everyone, regardless of age. Come down to Karnataka, whose lush greenery and clean air will make you wish that you never have to leave!

There are times when you just need to cut off from the hustle and bustle of the crowded city life and make way towards nature for peace. So why not wind your way to taking a Karnataka tour, where you’ll find no end of natural vistas to sooth your eyes? A visit to Coorg, for example, would have you strolling blissfully through the coffee plantations during March or April. You could even enjoy having a cool and refreshing family picnic near the Abbey Falls. Or you could go exploring through the Madikeri Fort. From atop the Madikeri Fort you could gaze at the Madikery city below. Coorg is, in a word, peaceful – with tall trees and lush green plantations paving your way. While there may be other sites to visit as well, these are places that you must not miss out on while during Coorg tourism.

While Coorg is certainly going to be on any of the Karnataka tour packages available, another certain spot is going to be Mysore. Known as the ‘city of palaces’, Mysore is home to any number of palaces, but the most popular is the Mysore Palace. Spectacularly lit up during the months of September and October, this palace is well known for its Dassera celebrations. You can also go to Chamundi Hills, where the oldest temple in Mysore rests - the Mahabaleshwara temple. You can enjoy the vista of Mysore city from atop the hills as well. The one place you should never miss out on as part of Mysore tourism, is the Brindavan gardens. Fountains, flower beds, trees and sprawling lawns decorate this beautiful garden. The pond found in the middle of the garden is a particularly delightful spot for boating. Brindavan gardens are now renowned for their natural splendour, but that doesn’t mean that only Mysore may lay claim to natural beauty.

Bangalore has its own share of gardens to boast about. Fittingly described as the ‘garden city’ of India, Bangalore has earned renown with its botanical gardens. Tour packages from Bangalore would be hardly worth it, should they not include a trip to Lalbaugh garden and Cubbon park. Equally beautiful is the Bangalore Palace, which is not to be missed. And do go through Tipu Sultan’s summer retreat, which has been turned into a museum and stands witness to the artifacts that have survived from the Mughal era. With such an array of things to hold your attention, Karnataka tourism will leave you with no choice but to forget about your stress and worries!
