There are a few elements of the world that always do their best, such as fire, wind, and water. We have much to learn from these aspects of the material plane.

Fire

Fire is all consuming, whatever it touches it transforms. Fire can be used for good and it can also be used to harm. Take for instance cooking on a fire to make food for our bodies. And then there is the harm of a forest fire, but eventually the fire does replenish the forest. Even the tall redwoods need fire so they can release their seeds and give birth to more giant redwood trees. So again fire transforms, changing and brings about a rebirth. And we too can emulate fire by burning away all that is not needed in our life and our psyche… thus the soul is free and we are reborn.

Wind

Wind is that which seems elusive, it’s there, wind is the breeze on our face. Wind has the power to create rolling waves on the ocean and to wear away the tall mountains. Wind is powerful yet leaves no trace. Wind is like humility, those that do great works expect nothing and need nothing in return, thus they leave no trace of their presence. Like wind which is an instrument of the heavens and even the cosmic winds which are the instrument of the cosmos… we are to be instruments of God, The Universe, and the One and Only. Doing what we have to do and thus letting go of all fame, fortune, and the need for adulation. Thus our soul which is our guiding light is moving us through life like wind.

Water

Water is another aspect of the material plane, put in place in order to bring life to the cosmos. Water is that which makes up every cell of our body, allowing all the enzymatic process to take place. And water is powerful, it can wash away mountains and change the course of rivers. And water quenches our thirst and allows us to be healthy. Water is very subtle, one drop of rain has very little force, but a might ocean is very powerful. And that is why all water comes together to create the might oceans of the world. All water flows with the least amount of resistance, going with the flow. And so it is that we too are to come together for the good of the one and the many. Flowing around obstacles and slowly wearing away all things that get in our way. Thus to be like water we never get upset at the outcome of anything. For we know the power of two or more coming together in His name is like water.

Thus if we transform our lives like fire, by changing and creating ourselves anew. If we are humble, and yet powerful we have the ability to make huge changes in the world without getting caught up in the material aspects of life. If we work like water we too can overcome all obstacles, because working together we can change everything.

Thus our soul shines bright and we sleep peacefully at night, knowing that we are doing our best to create according to the great plan called love.

Many Blessings to Everyone!
