Are you depressed because of a breakup? If so, then I feel for the pain you are going through. Going through a breakup can be tricky. While your whole world is turned upside down, you are at loss as what to do next. If you are going through a depression due to a break up, find out what you can do to ease the pain.

Are you spending your time at home, lurching in your own gloom? Do you feel miserable about life and lost hope? If this seems to be anything like you, you need to wake up. The only thing you can control in life is yourself.

Your thoughts, feelings and perception of the world and people around you creates your reality. This indicates that your thinking creates your feelings, your feelings create your actions, and your actions creates your life.

There are high chances that you're thinking about your break up and what you don't have in life if you're undergoing a depression over a break up.

Thinking of what you DON'T want creates MORE of it.

Do the following exercise.

Write down what YOU WANT IN YOUR LIFE.

Write everything until there is nothing more you can think of. It may take a while to get your juices flowing since you're so accustomed to thinking negatively about life.

You should be feeling better once you are done with this exercise.

If you don't, repeat the exercise.

It's normal to feel lonely, sad and miserable after a break up. That's your healing from the inside out is necessary.

This requires you to change your mindset. Most likely, you're having a low confidence and self-esteem. How are you feeling right now? Can you declare AND feel that you are a gorgeous, amazing and incredible person? You must remember how to love every part of yourself if you want to beat depression over a break up if you don't feel self-love.

Go out with friends and family. Socialize a few times a week. Enter a new class or have a new hobby.

Whatever you choose to do with your time, make sure it's not spent focusing on why your life is a mess right now.

Ultimately, you'll begin to feel better about your life after doing the things mentioned above.

Before you and your ex began dating, there was this glow about you that has drawn your ex to you. Is that glow still existing?

You have to ask yourself about what can you do right now to help you feel better about your life if you want to deal with depression over a break up.
