Sadness, missing people you love who have left. Be in Love.

“On the 3rd day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…” a Remembrance of Love. Our True Love is the Holy Spirit, or God, or whatever you call the Most High.

Many people experience deep despair during the Holidays. The absence of those we love and have lost, or who are away, feels much more acute. Our hearts ache as we miss them.

The Holy Spirit transforms sadness into love and we reach out. Sadness is a doorway to the deeper desires of our souls for Divine Love.

The Forth Be-Attitude I received from the Holy Spirit is to Be in Divine Love.

Divine Love is not like anything we know from our human experience.
Earthly love is but a pale reflection of Divine Love.
Earthly love can be a combination of chemistry and karma guiding us to the ones with whom we have unfinished business, and the ones who provide comfort and support.
This is the primary purpose of earthly love.
It is a rare privilege to glimpse Divine Love.
Accept this invitation and then share it with the people in your life.
Be in love
Love pours into an open, peaceful heart.
Open to receive and to give.
You are worthy of Divine Love.
You are worthy of a profoundly loving experience with God and with yourself.
Open to receive more love with the people in your life.
Love is all that matters.

The sadness we feel at the loss of our beloved ones IS our love. Sadness is one of the many flavors of love. At the soul level, we are far more deeply connected to our beloved ones than we could ever imagine.

Seek love first, and all else shall be given to you.
Let sadness open your heart to love. And share that love every way you can in life.
Saint Teresa of Avila said –

The important thing is not to think much but to love much;
And so do that which best stirs you to love.

What stirs you to love?
Not thoughts about love, or ideas.
Feelings of love - deep, passionate feelings.
I access experiences of love through prayer, meditation, my husband, my family, and the people in my life – all leading me to God.
