Becoming a Professional Triathlete, first, requires the enjoyment to ride long distances. It is not unheard of for cyclists to enter a triathlon with no training. However, most that do go down this road do so to get a taste of the sport, and once finished, begin to take steps to become a professional triathlon. There is a lot involved in training. Once you have mastered the above, it will boil down to getting some mileage in and building your confidence. The nutrition plan is also important, as being in tip top shape and health is essential. Remember, though, that not everything works for everyone and it will be up to you to determine the perfect triathlete nutrition sources, and what works for you while training. First mistake a riathlete can make is to try a new energy drink on race day. This is a definite no, as they are not all going to sit the same way. However, always keep hydrated. This is essential. Next, there are foods that will enhance the athletes performance, which each triathlete should be aware of. First, coconut oil has tremendous benefits, which enhance the performance of the athlete. It is also used to help lose extra pounds, increase endurance, and speed recovery. Coffee is another something that can give the athlete that competitive edge. This is something that you should look into the benefits of drinking coffee. For weight loss, cinnamon is a great spice and a spice that can be used on plenty of your foods. Olive oil is also something that should be introduced into the diet and one that will benefit the athlete by helping them lose weight, build muscle and increase endurance. There are many foods that the triathlete can introduce into their diet that will help enhance their performance, build muscle and increase endurance, the trick is finding what is right for you.
