Bell pepper is common and healthier vegetable across the world. It is rich source of vitamin C and vitamin A. it also contains folic acid and vitamin B6. There are several health benefits of bell peppers. The taste of bell pepper is mildly spicy to tangy and sweet. Bell pepper is also known as ‘Capsicum’ or ‘Shimla Mirch’. It comes in array of colours like green, yellow, red, orange, purple and black. Each variety has distinctive health benefits in its own way as indicated by the main nutritional ingredient which causes the vivid colors of these peppers. It has powerful antioxidants that prevent cancer. It is good to include all type of bell peppers in your diet as often as possible. You can eat this any way as you like but first wash it thoroughly from hot water to remove any wax residues that can be harmful to your health. Remove its inner core and the stem then use it.
