'She' met Quinn, Cathy and Paul through a friend and has been blessed by this family’s grace, openness, love and stamina. The Doctors have determined that Quinn has a disEase; however, every time ‘She’ is around Quinn...‘She’ sees otherwise. It appears this journey is beyond her diagnosis and it feels as if this will be her vehicle to teach many.

Quinn caught ‘She’s’ attention when she gifted Paul and Quinn two magical Star Children (a.k.a. Native American flutes). As ‘She’ played the flute and looked into Quinn’s eyes, ‘She’ felt Quinn’s entire physical and energetic rnbody relax. Quinn was taken by the flute. Paul immediately grabbed his and started to play. He commented, “I feel like we are Indians sitting around a camp fire.” Then, Quinn grabbed her flute and put it in her mouth and blew effortlessly. Quinn was a natural...the flute soothed her already calm soul and reminded ‘She’ about being in the moment.

Quinn’s presence is one of self reliance and very much ‘Be’ing present. She moves around the hospital or her home with only the interest to explore, play and express. ‘She’ is blessed to feel her relax in her hands and in amazement when her stares communicate a lifetime of knowledge.

Quinn’s spirit is her to remind ‘US’ all to Carpe Diem and BeSimply...Self Reliant.
