Goa is the most preferred beach holiday destination that is also the smallest state of India. This internationally famous destination is the larger cultural region that is known as Konkan. Goa has varied beaches, rice fields, coconut plantations and many more places. Panaji is the capital city of Goa and this is the city where you get peace and serenity all around. Goa is the splendid land of many beautiful churches that are like St. Augustine Church, Basilica of Bom Jesus, Church of St. Francis of Assisi and many others. Goa is that miniature state that celebrates the unending delights of Carnival festival and parties for whole night. Goa hotels and resorts are world renowned that really offers tremendous amazing hotels and resorts all over the Goa as well as the resorts near the beaches serve delicious seafood too. Goa has various sun kissed beaches that include: 1) Calangute Beach: Calangute Beach is the "Queen of all the Beaches" in Goa and it is considered that Calangute beach remains largest beach in the northern region of Goa. This beach remains crowded always and there is a small resort nearby the beach as well. This beach provides a number of water sports activities. This beach is the best tourist heaven for the travelers and here you can see numbers of stalls and shack are lining together beside one another as well as each and everything like fried prawn to beer are sold there. The various other items like ornaments or accessories are sold there in large number. The great sports activities are offered to enjoy in Calangute beach such as surfing water, skiing and parasailing. 2) Baga Beach: If you want to take rest from your hustle bustle life of regularly then the Baga beach is the best paradise beach of Goa giving you the relax and relief from daily exhausting life. It is also the perfect beach site for fishing itself. You can see flea market around this beach destination too where numbers of beach huts and stall are put all around there. It is the good place to share some quiet moments with the friends and relatives. The river flow of Baga beach offers a pleasant for the kids or children where they can enjoy its fast flow water waves all the time. 3) Anjuna Beach: Anjuna beach is the fabulous beach that is located in Bardez Taluka, Goa and this beach site is highly popular for its stunning natural beauty where you can see swaying palms trees with soft powered sands as well. Anjuna beach was once famous for rave parties that were used to organize by Hippies also. Here, the full-moon parties were celebrated especially on Christmas and New Year Eve too. Tourists also enjoy and have fun this blissful atmosphere too. Best time to visit the Anjuna beach from November to March. 4) Dona Paula Beach: Dona Paula beach is the hottest beach spot of Goa where you find a number of opportunities to have sunbath and have fun this romantic destination with your partners. This beach site is most renowned for its seaside shopping, sunbathing, water sports and food shacks too. It is said that this beach named after the daughter of viceroy's of India Dona Paula de Menzes who are not even permitted to get marry with local fisherman and that is why she jumped off the cliff. Sports enthusiasts can get lots of opportunities for water scooter rides, motor boat rides and many other sports activities.
