Hair transplantation is a technique to remove hair follicles (organ found in the dermal layer of skin) from a part of the body to another part (The part from where the hair follicles removed is known as the "Donor site" while the balding part where the hair follicles are placed is known as "recipient site”. rnHair Follicle rnBest hair transplant is possible due to the hair follicle, which an organ is found in the dermal layer of skin, made up of different cell types, with its distinct function. The position and distribution of hair follicles vary overall body parts, the palm skin and soles do not have hair follicles but present in the scalp, legs, forearms, and genitalia. rnMethods of harvesting rnBest hair transplant requires several different methods and techniques for harvesting hair follicles. The donor follicles to ensure the quality of transplanted hair, regardless of the harvesting technique or method, and avoid transactions. Hair follicles grow at a slight angle of the skin surface, so the tissues are removed from their proportionate angle. There are two processes of grafting use nowadays. rn1. Strip harvesting or Follicular unit transplant (FUT) rn2. Follicular unit extraction (FUE) rnStrip harvesting or Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) rnIt is also known as Follicular unit transplantation or (FUT), which is a most familiar technique for removing hair follicles from the donor's scalp or donor site. This method begins when a surgeon harvests a strip of skin (from the site of good hair growth) from the backside or posterior scalp. A scalpel of single, double, or triple blades is used to remove hair-bearing tissue strips from the donor site. The excised strip is about 1-1.5 X 15-30 cm smaller in size. Assistant dissects the individual follicular unit graft while closing the resulting wound. Follicular unit grafts are naturally formed groupings and very small in size, by using stereo microscopes they carefully begin to remove excess fibrous and fatty tissues. The latest method of closure of scars in donor sites results in much finer scars due to "Trichophytic closure ". The surgeon uses fine needles to puncture receiving graft sites, angling them, and placing them in a pattern, and pre-determine the density in a constant fashion for best hair transplant results. The final part of the surgery is done by inserting the individual grafts in place. rnAfter effects:rnIn this process, a thin linear scar is left in the donor site (posterior scalp) of the patient. rnIt takes about two weeks for the recovery and to remove the stitches. rnFollicular Unit extraction (FUE) rnFollicular unit extraction or FUE takes place in a single long session or multiple short sessions. In follicular unit extraction, surgery time varies according to the surgeon's experience, patients' characteristics, and speed of the surgeon in harvesting the grafts. The method of hair transplantation begins with using local anesthesia. The micro-motor removes 1 to 4 hairs, using tiny punches of between 0.6 mm to 0.1mm in diameter. The surgeon then punctures the receiving graft sites, using a very small microblade or needles. Angling the wound and placing them in a pre-determine the pattern and density in a constant fashion for the best hair transplant results. The final part of the surgery is done by inserting the individual grafts in place. rnAfter effects :rnFollicular unit extraction is more time taking than strip harvesting surgery or follicular unit transplantation.rnFUE can give very natural results. rnFUE neutralizes the need of harvesting a large area of scalp tissues. rnNo surgical team is required. rnThe FUE surgery recovers within 7 days or less than 7 days.rnThe follicular unit transplant has a lower ratio of successful extraction, as observed by some surgeons as compared to follicular unit transplant. rnSide effectsrnFifty to a hundred hair falls per day so bald patches are common. rnIn 4% of patients, preoperative hiccups have also been seen. rnHair thinning is also common. rnConclusion rnBoth techniques and methods possess their own advantages and disadvantages as follicular unit extraction (FUE) are less painful than Follicular unit transplant (FUT) or Strip harvesting. FUE is time-consuming while strip harvesting is not. With continuous research and development, the FUE technique emerged as a winning or popular procedure and the transaction rate is also controlled.rnIf you are interested in Hair Transplant than click: https://hairtransplantt.com/
