Best Treatment for The Scalp with Shampoo That Cures Dandruff
The simplest Anti-Dandruff shampoo you could make at home is with aspirin. Do not be surprised, the ingredient in Aspirin, salicylic acid is the same thing present in most of the anti-dandruff shampoos. The action of the salicylic acid is to prevent the flaking action.
You know how getting the proper nutrients will cure the underlying deficiency. Some of the nutrients needed for healthy scalp and hair are these:
Proteinr
Vitamin A
Omega 3 fatty acidsr
Vitamin C
Iron
Zinc
Seleniumr
Vitamin E
Biotinr
The second shampoo you could make at home is this. Take ½ bottle of the juice of amla (about 200 ml) and mix in the Bhringraj powder. Put in the essence of basil, about 2-3 drops and stir continuously. When the mixture is of uniform consistency, add it to any ordinary shampoo. Use an open bottle to mix the ingredients into the shampoo. Fix the nozzle and you are ready to go. If you find you are allergic to Bhringraj, you can avoid adding that to the mixture. Instead you can use hibiscus leaves.
Nourish your scalp
Use of anti-dandruff shampoo must be moderate. The scalp needs nourishment more than it needs removal of dead skin. Fenugreek, basin flour, egg whites, and calendula oil are some of the best things for your scalp. Use a hair treatment mixture of henna, coconut oil, tea tree oil, and Bhringraj leaves. Add some freshly crushed basil and bring to simmer in a small vessel. Strain the mixture and store in bottles. You can use this to add nourishment to your hair.
Chamomile is renowned for relieving the scalp itch. Add crushed chamomile flowers to cedarwood oil that helps to reduce the flakiness of the skin. Heat it gently and mix gotu kola. Gotu kola helps treat several internal and exte
al maladies. It helps improve the circulation and promote hair growth. Apply this mixture to the scalp half an hour before you have your bath.
Keep a note of some of the toxic ingredients present in shampoos and conditioners. These will irritate the scalp and make the hair fall out. First is sodium lauryl sulfate commonly known as SLS. The others are Triclosan, cocamidopropyl betaine, and polyethylene glycol. They are linked to cancer and diseases and it is best if these were not present in your shampoo.
Nature is chockful of herbs that help the growth of hair. Spend some time taking care of your hair and enjoy looking great always.
