It's not surprising that so many people give up on their online network marketing business around the 3 month mark. It can be totally confusing navigating the amount of information being bombarded at you on a minute by minute basis, and being distracted from your main focus of your working day effects the most focused people. One of the ways to combat the distractions of your daily online activities I have found is to automate your business as much as possible, leaving a specific task or tasks for you to complete on a daily basis. There are a number of opportunities available that allow you to do this by taking the cold calling, prospecting, telling, selling and credit card processing completely out of your day, leaving you to fully focused on marketing activities, which do take several hours per day to complete. Additionally it is key to the success of your day to write down exactly what tasks you will complete every day. For example, 1. Write an article and submit it to 25 sites 2. Place 3 banner ads 3.Place 3 text ads 4. Add 20 friends on facebook 5. Update posts on facebook 6. Connect with 5 people personaly on facebook 6.Update twitter post 4 times per day 7. Check traffic stats for all your current live ads and make adjustments etc etc, I'm sure you get the idea. Work through the tasks checking them off as you complete them, also recording where you have placed ads, articles etc. You can see that the brief description of an internet marketers day is already fairly full, and when you add to that conference training calls, webinars that you may want to attend with others in your team and opportunity as well as checking and responding to emails means the hours really do mount up. So, find an opportunity that has the following 1. A sustainable product or service 2. Fully automated sales system 3. High Ticket Value 4. Easy access to training and support 5. A clear plan for driving quality traffic to your system In doing so you will eleviate the need to spend hours talking to prospects, chasing prospects, following up with prospects, three way calling prospects with other members of your team and generally spending half your day running around like a headless chicken. In closing, automate the sales process as much as possible and have a clear idea of your daily marketing activities. You'll be surprised how quickly your business will grow.
