Taking the advantage of this many penny auction websites make big promises of giving heavy discounts (90%) on expensive items, but actually they don’t. In order to take the benefit of heavy discount numerous customers draw in to these sites but ultimately end up losing hundreds and thousands of dollars. In order to stop forgery government has constituted a law under which these customers can file their complaints in the consumer court. Many complaints have been recorded against these penny auction websites. All over the world, several complaints have skyrocketed on these types of websites, ranging from delivery problems to misleading marketing practices. No doubt, online penny auctions are very attractive and interesting but still many consumers bid more than what the cost is and end up by paying more money than it is worth. Some websites charge unnecessarily from its members. They charge around fifty cents - $1 for every bid. Due to some scam live penny auction sites, one must not have a wrong thought that all sites will cheat them. There are only few sites which are fraud so you should be very careful before selecting any. Some sites announce the winner who has done the bidding at the closing period. They don’t take into consideration the highest bid, which is again wrong. Thus below are few points with the help of which you will understand the working procedure of the particular site, and once you have the correct knowledge you can start. 1.First find out the actual rate of the item and at what rate are they getting it. Sometimes it happens that they pay high after bidding but the actual cost is less in the market. 2.Pranksters, disreputable companies or greedy bidders might create some program via which they increase the bid price for the items due to which you might lose money while bidding against those items. 3.Carefully go through the terms & conditions of the company and read the website’s reviews. Also see that whether the amount paid against the item that you have won in the auction is refundable or not if in case you receive the item in a damaged condition. 4.Do not get overexcited and start bidding on many items at a time just because you are getting them at a very cheap rate. A prank may be planned by the website owner to get out as much money as they can from you.
