Uncover the Blocks; Build the Bridges to a Future That Fits
Most of us have at least one area in our lives that could use tweaking or improving.
We tend to be ‘repeat offenders’ with the same basic issues showing up but disguised as different circumstances and relationships.
We don’t understand why we can’t seem to manifest more of what we want.
Here I share a few blocks we have unconsciously created which prevent our wishes from coming true.
These are temporary obstacles, nudges by our higher selves to pay attention to what we’re thinking and feeling and to shift to what feels better, in the moment we catch ourselves feeling negative emotion.
1- Being impatient and constantly wondering where ‘IT’ is and why it’s not here yet.
It doesn’t matter what your ‘IT’ is- it includes whatever you want that is not part of your current reality.
With impatience comes an energetic shift from an initial feeling of joy and optimism back to the original situation that your desire arose from in the first place.
Consider the desire for a different job.
Rather than focusing on all the wonderful opportunities another work environment will provide, you revisit all the reasons you want to move on.
You have unwittingly reinforced an energy of lack or scarcity.
*To turn it around, your task is to remain in states that reflect the higher energy frequencies of appreciation, delight and discovery.
2- Becoming controlling or attached to an outcome of’ ‘How’ something will become accomplished or will show up.
When things aren’t happening as we think they should, we get frustrated and discouraged.
We attempt to control or force something and in the process create an urgency to make it happen. We become so fixated on a solitary solution to get or do something that we may lose perspective, missing opportunities that may be presenting themselves.
For example, you may desire more money but believe the only way to get it is to earn more. You feel you have to look for another job, put in some overtime or get another part time job. None of these options is very appealing but your bills are due. You are so stressed about how to pay for them, you pass up an opportunity to attend a class you wanted to explore and instead pick up some extra hours at work.
The universe creates its own vehicle through which it manifests. That means things often come in unexpected ways when we open ourselves to unlimited potential and possibilities.
That course might have provided the opportunity you were seeking for additional cash flow.
*To turn this around, surrender the outcome. Be open to everything. Forget the details of HOW and focus instead on the myriad ways to accomplish what you want.
3- Hating where you are now, whatever your current circumstances.
The tendency here is to dwell on the ‘What Is’, the thing you don’t want.
You get trapped in the stories and drama of your situation, the justifications of why you are in this circumstance.
For example, if you are in an unfulfilling job, you chu
around in all the reasons you hate it, who’s to blame for your unwanted circumstance and all the reasons you have to endure your situation. You are fixated on the struggle and what’s not working.
*It’s important to be accepting of your current life, without judgment, while moving in whatever way possible toward what you want.
Realize you cannot solve a problem by focusing on it because in that moment you are in different vibrational state than the frequency of your desired outcome.
Instead, practice being in joyful anticipation of what you are in the process of bringing into your life.
In summary, notice areas where you feel struggle, negative emotion.
Just notice without judging the emotion.
Shift your energy-filled thoughts and beliefs from doubt or fear to possibility and optimism.
Remain in states of gratitude, joy.
Gain clarity around what you want and why.
Take baby steps toward your desired outcome.
