rnFor the average guy or gal, biking is one of the absolute best ways to keep yourself in shape and make a positive choice for yourself and your environment. It has every benefit that a good cardio exercise should have. Here is why: Great for the Body Unlike many cardio sports that can also have some negative impact on the body in the long run, biking offers a positive and non-damaging exercise to your muscles and joints. Your heel is not hitting the pavement repeatedly as in jogging and there is no impacting against other athletes, just the smooth rhythm of your legs rotating. If you get your bike seat professionally fitted at a bike shop, you can even adjust your sitting position to the best overall position for your personal self. Great for the Mind Biking is just plain fun. Watching the scenery whiz by, feeling the wind in your face and especially if you have a chance to bike in mother nature there is almost nothing better. It gets you out of the house, out of your comfort zone and focused on the sport itself. You cannot underestimate how important it is for your mental health to have an outdoor fun and engaging sport like biking... meditation in motion as I like to call it. Great For All Ages Biking is a sport that you can enjoy at almost any age and also with your family. There are many sports that we just cannot do effectively as our body gets older, but biking is a lifetime sport for many. You can control the speed and the distance you travel. If you do have any health difficulties or weaknesses, then you will need to use common sense and seek professional advice if you feel there may be any reason biking may not be for you. If you are biking with children, it is recommended to avoid busy roads and stick to parks so your attention does not have to be so divided all the time in watching for moving dangers. If you have a nice boardwalk or some trails nearby, it can be a positive enjoyment for the whole family. Great for the Adventurer Too One of the best times I ever enjoyed biking was when I use to ride my mountain bike through the trails. If you are more of an extreme sport kind of person, you don't need to restrict yourself with relaxing bicycle rides through the park. How far you take it is up to you just be sure to go with a buddy if you are into heavy trail riding. Accidents do happen and it is always best to have help nearby in case you need it. Keep your Bike in Good working Order It has become more common these days for cyclists to play doctor on their own bicycles in order to keep them running smoothly. This is a good thing as it allows you to know your vehicle and the workings of it better as well as save you money and time. Learn a few tricks online and buy a few tools. Look into a couple bike repair stands and keep your bike clean and properly maintained. Biking is a fabulous addition to a healthy life and has very little impact on the environment. The more you put into the sport, the greater the benefits you will feel.

Movement is one of the most honest forms of self-connection. The body never lies. It holds stress, records emotion, and reveals when something feels off. For many, this is why exercise has always been more than fitness; it’s therapy through motion. But not all movement heals. Some styles exhaust, others distract. True healing often begins in the slow, intentional kind, the kind that lets the body lead and the mind follow.rnThat’s where precision-based training, such as re
