Thirty Slews who drew his pedigree from grand sire Seattle Slew chased down victory in the Breeder’s Cup Sprint in 1992; his win paid $39.40, a win that is recalled merely as a fluke except for the man who trained him. rnSilver Charm in 1997 captured the first two legs of the Triple Crown in a hopelessly thrilling performance and headed for the third leg at Belmont when he lost it to Touch Gold and finished second. The 63rd ranking horse on Blood Horse Top 100 American race horses list was also the American Champion Three Year Old for the year 1997.rn1998, Real Quiet quite much accomplished a similar feat as silver Charm the previous year, entering the Kentucky Derby with a Beyer Speed Figure rating highest acquired by any two year old. He also won the Preakness with a substantial lead. However another failure followed this year again with Real Quiet losing the Belmont Stakes to Victory Gallop by merely a nose.rnHistory repeated itself when War Emblem won the Kentucky Derby in 2002. His next win followed with one in the Preakness but lost the final leg to Sarava. As luck would have it, War Emblem had stumbled in the beginning of the race but he had managed to quickly make up to leading the field until in the final stretch he ran out of gas just a few furlongs before the wire. rnEvery single defeat came as a lethal blow to all the anticipations of a Triple Crown victory for this man but the racing tracks continued to witness consistent and determined contention from him year after year. rnHis Kentucky Derby-Preakness wins saw a change of plans when in 2001Point Given won the Preakness and the Belmont Stakes. However the very next year he was back to square one. rnIt was only in 2010 that eventually his Triple Crown leg winning came back to him with a Preakness victory by Lookin at Lucy. rnThis was Bob Baffert and his endless array of wins in a major races throughout his career starting since 1998 till today when he continues to target the Triple Crown and the Breeder’s Cup Classic as his favourites.rnBob Baffert has listed to his cadre of achievements a grand array of awards ranging from Eclipse Award for Outstanding Trainer from 1997 to 1999, Big Sport of Turfdom Award 1997 and consecutively for four years won the United States Champion Trainer Award in terms of earnings starting with 1998. Bob Baffert trained racehorses that made a solid mark in some critically acclaimed races like the Haskell Invitational and Santa Anita Handicap. rnThe trainer is also listed in the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame right along with Silverbulletday, a filly he trained that won a major collection of graded stake races ranging from Ashland Stakes to Black Eyed Susan Stakes and is also registered as a United States Champion two and three year old filly for 1998 and 1999. rnThis year Baffert’s contention on the fields was The Factor who’s been a little off the tracks owning to injuries but is soon expected by fans back to his excellent racing form by year end. Baffert’s army is magnanimous and his work can never be unseen. Maybe that’s why 3D racing games has evolved into such a riot as more and more players desire to develop similar breeding and training techniques as Bob. The games offer the players messaging platforms to share race information and plan strategies with fellow players from around the globe, polish their betting skills and also win real prizes. Well, it can’t get better, can it?
