Bomdila is a beautiful diminutive town located at an altitude of about 8000 feet above the sea level from where one can see the magnificent viewpoint and snow-clad mountains of the Himalayan Range. Profuse apple orchards that expands far and wide surround Bomdila. Once can enjoy the bird's-eye view of the Himalayas with its glacial peaks and the beautiful Kameng valley with its groves. The town is engulfed by lush apple groves. The nearest airport is situated at Tezpur which is nearly 160 kms away. Regular bus facility and taxis are accessible to transport you to Bomdila.
