Fueling your body when you first wake up from a good night’s sleep plays a critical role in your ability to control your appetite throughout your day. Think of it in these terms . . . would you ever knowingly operate your vehicle when you are out of gas, or set sail on your journey in your yacht:)without a tank of fuel? Would you contemplate sending your children to school without topping up their energy or leaving your pets hanging while you fly out the door? No you wouldn’t, therefore, you are thoroughly aware of why it is an integral move to take care of yourself as you do others.

Making sure and making time to properly feed yourself is an imperative move toward balancing out your day when it comes to losing or maintaining your body weight. The following is a list of reasons why fueling your temple should be at the top of your list when you awaken from your beauty sleep.

~Provides your mind, body and soul with energy and oomph to focus and take on the day. ~Wards off the possibility of over consumption later in the day. ~Enhances your ability to concentrate. ~Helps avoid feelings of irritation, impatience and annoyance. ~Levels out your blood sugars and avoids a roller coaster ride with inconsistencies throughout your entire day. Creates a platform toward consumption steadiness.

Many women have a mindset that if they begin eating at an early hour they will not be able to stop and so choose not to begin their feeding frenzy too early; how does that work for you? It doesn’t, and sets you up to utter the words “I’m starving” and then off you go into every sugar-based, high-calorie, oversized portion share every single time. You are not the exception to this worldwide rule, you are not the one that it omits and you are not the one that can fight the plain truth. So what do you do about it? Eat breakfast, accept the plain fact that breakfast is the way to go and if need be, begin to change your attitude regarding this hour of munching.
