The beaches of Mumbai and Goa come to everyone’s minds when asked about the best sea side experiences they’ve had. That doesn’t seem convincing, however, since 7402 Kms of coastline alludes India. There are more breathtaking beaches here to breath salty air and watch the sunsets. Few of our best memories were made by the beach whether with family, friends or simply meandering in solitude. There is something unearthly about the vast sand landscapes, the clear sky and perpetual salty breezes. Somehow, nobody can manage to be somber when spending time on a beach. Today, to humanity’s shame, many popular beaches have become plastic dump-holes with waste rolling to the shores from the land and from the oceans too. People seem to condone the critical situation still. Not all is lost however; A few beaches that still haven’t been under a commercial spotlight. Here is a short list of beaches you can visit to have a great, sublime experience in the summer: 1.Tarkarli, Maharashtra Juhu beach in Mumbai, Maharashtra is the most popular beach in the state, and for a good reason. Back in the day, the beach was the most lively place to spend time at, but now it’s overcrowded and filled with garbage. Tarkarli is around 500 Km south of Mumbai and takes about 15 hours to reach by car. It is also very close to Goa (135km). This is one of the few beaches in India where you can find cleanliness and peace; and even solitude. There’s much to do here like scuba diving and snorkeling since the water is relatively clean. If you decide to stay, do so in a houseboat. Spend time visiting the Sindhudurg Fort or trying your luck spotting dolphins. 2.Goka a, Karnataka If you are one to enjoy solitude or a limited company, Goke a beaches may reach your top favourites. Here, you will find few of the most secluded and beautiful beaches bestowing visitors with pleasant breezes and ardent sunsets. The Goka a coast line, only 140 km south of Goa, has picturesque beaches such as the Half Moon beach and Om beach (named after its Om shape). Since Goka a lacks popular, you can get your own space or even stay in a shack or a beach side domestic hotel to understand the place better. Activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving and water sports are common. Visit the local markets, try local food or even learn surfing at the Cocopelli Surf School to get a real taste of the beach life. All in all, the little locality of beaches makes one think of paradise. It’s difficult to imagine a beach like this one in India. 3.Radhanagar, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Its highly probable that these islands are on you vacation list. Radhanagar is located in the Havelock islands. Though these beaches are too remote to casually visit, it’s a delightful place in case you book a cheap flight ticket online to visit the islands. Apart from clear water, white sand and generic water-sports, there is the elephant beach, amazing hotels and shacks and great food. The landscapes and water bodies are nonidentical to what you see on Indian mainlands. When you explore India, you realize its far beyond its aesthetic beauty that alluringly resembles smoke from incense sticks in tranquil air. The beaches alone may not motivate you to visit them, but it should be understood that cultural and geographical diversity in India is overwhelmingly colorful. All the states mentioned have so much to teach you about culture, traditions, lifestyles, philosophies and love. If you’re in proximity with these wonderful beaches and locations, be sure to pay a visit.
