Nowadays breast cancer is the second leading cause of death in most in women. Unfortunately there is no treatment is developed till today efficiently. The origin of breast cancer is also an unknown fact. The disease is all about uncontrolled growth of cells which does not have any function form in the breast. These cells are replaced by killing the normal cells and tissue. If the process is continued with the same, this can cause a mass or lump to form called cancer. More than 200,000 women are spotted with breast cancer every year. The estimation says that 3.5 percent of them will die a 12 percent will get the disease. Cancer can reach all over the body when cancer cells separate from from nasty tumors and enter the bloodstream. In case of breast cancer when it spreads there you can see the lymph nodes under the arm where the cancer cells from breast cancer are mostly found in. It has the same name as the original cancer though the cancer spreads to other parts. I.e. if your breast cancer spread to lungs, still it is called as breast cancer. Breast cancer more often than not takes place in women between the ages of 35 and 65. Women over sixty and sixty five have the fifty percent of breast cancer. With the last couple of decade the chances of women getting breast cancer has increased in aggressive rate. The increasing rate was 1.7 percent per year between 1973 and 1989. The statistics of 1960 says that one out of twenty women has breast cancer. But unfortunately today the ratio has come to minimum and it is one out of nine. There are no efficient prevention method is known for breast cancer, still it can be reduce the risk by taking some steps. That includes self breast examination, yearly routine mammograms for women 40, knowing your family, Medical checkup by professional. It may come by heredity, so knowing your family history may be helpful. I really pray for the disease free and healthy world through this breast cancer essay.
