There is a large offering of transport at Brisbane airport. If you are going to fly in to the Airport then you need to plan ahead of time in order to reduce inconvenience and maximize your time. If you are flexible, then there are many choices that you can choose from. If you need to meet a deadline or meeting, then there are also transport options for you. This article will cover the Brisbane airport transport options that are open to you. Don’t forget that if you are unfamiliar with Brisbane’s road system, you may find the planning tool provided in the form of interactive road maps, “Getting Around By Car”, located on Brisbane Airport's website. Bus services at Brisbane airport Coachtrans operates a sizeable fleet of coaches that service Brisbane Airport’s Domestic and International Terminals, departing every 30 minutes. They offer direct transfers between Brisbane Airport and Brisbane City and CBD hotels. The cost is $12.00 AUS per person, and can be booked directly with Coachtrans. There is also a door-to-door service offered to the Gold Coast to all hotels from Sanctuary Cove to Coolangatta for $39.00 per person. If you want to transfer to the Sunshine Coast, then look for the Sun-Air bus service that operates a daily service every hour from 05.50 to 20.50. If you want to find out more information and want to make online bookings visit the Sun-Air website. There are also services to Brisbane’s Cruise Terminal at Hamilton operated by Coachtrans every 30 minutes for $12.00 per person. Taxis at Brisbane Airport There is a taxi rank to be found at the front terminal road at the Domestic Terminal. There is also one at Arrivals Level 2, at the International Terminal. The fares vary based on the distance, traffic conditions and time. However, you should expect that a fare to Brisbane’s CBD (from Brisbane Airport) will be approximately $33.00 plus a $3.00 fee applicable for departing taxis only. For further information on fares and bookings, you can visit the Black & White Cabs website. Trains at Brisbane Airport There are also trains operating from Brisbane Airport. Air train services between Brisbane City and Brisbane Airport (Domestic Terminal) take 22 minutes. A one-way single adult ticket costs $13.00. There are also frequent services to the Gold Coast (Nerang) to and from Brisbane Airport. This journey is a 90-minute ride, and worth it just for the scenery. These services run between 06.00 and 19.59 every day. For further detailed information, timetables, fares and bookings visit the Airtrain website. Short and Long Term Parking at Brisbane Airport If you prefer to use a car, then there is also convenient parking available at both the International and Domestic Terminals at Brisbane Airport. There are also a number of different Brisbane Airport Parking options and lengths to accommodate people with different needs. Short term parking (stays of under 6 hours) at the Domestic Terminal is located only a short stroll from the Terminal, via covered walkways. For stays over 6 hours, overnight or longer, it is recommended that you use the Long Term undercover car park, located opposite the Domestic Terminal, only a short walk away. Parking at the International Terminal caters to both short and long stay visitors. Parking at Brisbane airport is well organized and sign-posted. There are many options with Brisbane airport transport. Brisbane Airport offers a wide range of transport options to get to and from the Airport, to travel in between terminals and to go shopping at Airport Village. If you need more detailed information then download the Brisbane Airport Services Map from their website.

I think the easiest way you arrive at the Brisbane airport is to use an offsite Brisbane airport parking service that has a drop off service. They often have low airport parking rates and are very fast.
