Did it ever cross your mind to design a shed and build it yourself? If you have a garden like I do, it must have crossed your mind before to be able to store all the stuff that is scattered in the garden; all the kids stuff, the firewood or all the garden tools you have collected over the years.

In my patio, I had a metal shed. With the onslaught of winter that brings thick snow, the metal's true color is showing, which wasn’t entirely beautiful to say the least.

It's high time to construct a new shed to avoid the tools and stocks from being worn out by weather conditions. So I decided to design a shed myself from readily available shed designs and construct it in my free time.

You will likely to get a simple DIY kit when you need a shed like I do. Well scrap the idea. These DIY shed design kits will only cost you more and they're not sturdy and you can’t trust the quality. Many of them don’t go well to your beautiful garden according to what i saw from my buddies who tried it.

The concept do design a shed and built it myself sprung from that case. Luckily, I was able to find numerous shed plans after I checked the Internet and the top ones are from the site MyShedPlans.

The materials for your wall should be arrange and have them ready. To have a good support for the walls, it's a good idea to have them built on the ground. When they are already joined together you can bolster them with nails. Apply the trusses one by one but make sure the alignment is followed and you can put the roof after you are done with the trusses.

Your shed now is almost done. Remember to stick to the shed plans and the storage shed designs of your project when you design a shed on your own. The singles should be ready to apply once you have completed putting the trusses and attached the roof in place. You can also now treat the wood.
