Islamic Cairo is highlight of the city, its minarets and domes, bazaars and alley walks recall scenes from 1001 Nights. Cairo’s infamous Bazaar the Khan El Khalili as well as many mosques like Al Azhar, Hussein Mosque, Al Ghouri Complex, Al Hakim Mosque, Sultan Hassan Mosque and the Cairo Citadel.

The Pyramids of Giza is in the immediate vicinity of the Cairo. You cannot miss Egypt’s most famous monuments and the magnificent sphinx with its adjourning temple. Just behind the Great Pyramid of Cheops is the solar boat museum.

Within short drive of Cairo’s city limits are some of the oldest and important ancient Egyptian sites in the country Memphis and Sakkara.

Along with the main siteseeing and monuments in Cairo there are plenty of activities to enjoy like the Sound and Light Show, Pharaonic Village, Felucca rides, dinner Nile River Cruises to name a few.
