Call Forwarding Keeps Your Work Location Flexible With the advent of new mobile technologies, business people are working away from their desks more and more often. Phone systems using the call forwarding feature can help clients, co-workers and bosses help keep up with employees on the go. After Office Hours Even though the work day comes to an end, sometimes the work itself does not.Call Forwarding can help employees get the important calls that they need to receive after the office has closed for the day. Issues at work can, at times, be critical and extremely time sensitive. This means that phone calls need to be answered promptly. Having a phone system with a call forwarding feature can allow employees to take calls after hours so they can deal with these critical issues from where ever they happen to be. Family Time People with families are often not able to be at the office as much as the project or clients may need. Whether an employee wants to work from home, or simply needs time off for sick children, school events or doctor’s appointments, a phone system with the call forwarding feature can make a huge difference. Employees no longer need to put in long hours at their desk to stay in touch with clients and co-workers. Their phone calls can simply be forwarded to a home phone line or a cell phone making it simple and convenient to reach them. There is no need to have to choose between going to work and family time when technology such as call forwarding is used. Work Travel Many jobs require meetings out of town on a regular basis, attendance at conventions in a different state and even out of area training. Staying in touch with colleagues and clients can become a real problem during these times away from the office. Using call forwarding means that people can work from wherever they happen to be. If a client needs to get a hold of you in Denver instead of San Francisco, they won’t even need to know you’re away from your desk and using call forwarding. The call will simply be forwarded from the office number to whatever phone number is chosen. Working from Home Many business people are now opting to work from home at least part of the rntime. Not only does working from home allow employees to stay more connected with their families, it can also increase productivity. This is because there is no commute time and workers often have increased satisfaction with employers who are able to provide them with some flexibility. Having call forwarding makes it easy for people to set up a home office. The calls from their desk at work are simply forwarded to their desk at home, or to their cell phones. Those trying to reach them will not even be aware that they are at home working in their pajamas instead of in full business attire in the office. Call forwarding allows users to work from virtually anywhere and remain in touch with everyone in exactly the same way they would if they were at the office. The call forwarding feature is extremely easy to set up and use, allowing increased satisfaction on the parts of both workers and clients.
