Can bad credit affect my job?

First, is to get a latest copy of your credit history and try to resolve any errors if there are any. Errors are the last thing you would want on it. It’ll take you time to dispute it with credit agencies so its best to do it as early as possible. If you really want to get that job, you shouldn’t miss paying your bills or settle your balances, this would just get you into more trouble. Missing payments is just another way to hurt your credit and at the same time paying on time is a quick way to earn points to raise your credit score. Try to pay more than the minimum of your balances, it wil have a positive effect on your record and hopefully in the future, it can make your bad credit record better. A bad credit history is not easy to repair but it is not impossible. Negative points can be a real problem when you are looking for a job, especially if the job position you are applying for is higher, and the only thing you can do is it try and repair it, which really takes a lot of time because some marks can stay on your credit history for seven years. If you were able to prevent damages as early as possible then it’s a good start for your credit score,however, if the damage has already been done, take smalls steps in repairing it and do everything you can to show that you are worthy and financially responsible.
