The events occurring after the September eleventh bombing of the United States twin towers have changed the world in many ways. It is without a doubt that we are at a very pivotal point in history regarding terrorism. These terrorists have succeeded in threatening the world security and also affected the relations between the countries they come from and the world. The issue of security since then is a subject of concern especially for those planning to travel to different destinations. Before one can do so, then they have to ask themselves if the country is safe for them to visit. The airlines have done nothing to ease the situation because others fail to offer any form of insurance to their passengers travelling to some of these countries that harbor terrorists. Security checks in the airports have also been enhanced since the fateful bombing of the United States. Weapons of mass destruction both nuclear and biological have been used by terrorists in their attacks. These weapons are manufactured by a number of countries including Iraq, North Korea and Libya. The attempt by the United States to disarm these countries has been futile for a long time. The United States has deployed military officers in these countries for a decade now starting with the era of the Bush administration. However, instead of controlling the situation, these countries have formed alliances with other countries to fight the attempts of Americans. Since the bombing of the twin towers in the United States by, terrorist, Muslims living in America have been discriminated against by other Americans. These unethical vice has stirred up anger in the hearts of terrorists in other countries. They claim that America is mistreating their own people and will avenge these actions for the protection of all Muslims in the world. In a bid to control terrorist attacks, America deployed soldiers in Afghanistan which is said to be the country of residence of Osama bin Laden the mastermind behind the September 11 bombing. This forceful invasion was seen by many as unnecessary and it lead to death of many innocent citizens of that country. Those captured and arrested with terrorism charges are taken to a high maximum security prison in Guantanamo Bay. These cases have not been tried in the United States due to fear of transporting these criminals and also in consideration of public security. It is until recently that the United States has decided to try these criminals in court. If these criminals were tried as soon as they were captured awarded very heavy punishments, then it would have been a lesson to all those who were planning to engage in terrorist activities in the future. Most of those carrying out terrorist activity are Muslims. According to them, they are fighting a holy war known as the jihad and are more than willing to lose their lives while fighting for the rights of Muslims all over the world. With this notion, it will be difficult to control this issue of terrorism. It is speculated that Osama bin Laden has formed a group where young men and women voluntarily join this group to all the tactics involved. Those who die while fighting for the rights of Muslims are promised eternity as is written in the Qur'an and this acts as a driving force that entices these people to fight for a spot in this group. International terrorists like Osama bin Laden have escaped from the law and have proved hard to find. This is because these terrorists are sustained by countries who share the similar interests with them. They are well protected and given particular privileges by the countries from which they come from. Capturing of these criminals has proved to be a challenge meaning that the war on terrorism will not be won unless the international terrorists are captured. These countries on the other hand spread propaganda around the world so as to legitimize terrorism. The best way for the United States to deal with the problem of terrorism is to make sure that the citizens are well protected. Hardly twelve hours after the bombing of the twin towers on September 11th, had the president Gorge Bush declared war against the terrorists by deploying military agents in Afghanistan in the search for the terrorist. The most significant thing would have been to improve the security checks in order to ensure that the citizens are well protected. People in the US are living in constant fear of an attack to the extent that any criminal activity is termed as an act of terrorism. Conclusively, all the challenges faced by the United States have made it difficult for them to win the war against terrorism. If the war against terror is to be won, then the United States should go back to the drawing board to establish the facts relating to the terrorist attacks. The questions asked should be; who is responsible for this attacks? What are the motives for the attack? And most significantly, what is the best approach in dealing with this issue? Once these questions are answered then, this would be the first step towards fighting the war on terror. rnFor more information visit http://www.accuracygunshop.com
