In this method, you can use your IRA as a replacement for your source of funding since normally people goes to a bank to help with their financing. Then this will make your IRA as the first lien holder. Then next thing you need to do is know the terms of the transaction with the investor for the purchase and repair of the property in question. But if you don't it the property, you may ask to see the others. And you have to be careful not to spend or invest more than seventy percent of the property value after repair and always ask for the evidence of the value.
It is a great alte
ative to have your IRA invest in real estate for both the traditional and a Roth IRA. Remember that the incomes are taxed at retirement when returns are given to you and the contributions to a traditional one are from pre-tax income. While Roth IRA contributions are from post-tax income, so whatever you get from it is surely tax free. So the people who will work with you like the investor and the custodian will make sure your IRA stay in compliance with all the IRS regulation. Also, the return is worth it when you have private lending in an IRA.
