Cardinals and Rangers to Game 7
The Cardinals managed to push game 6 of the 2011 World Series against the Rangers to eleven innings and acquired an outstanding victory that is allowing them to dream of another championship title as the series is going to game 7, and now St Louis have the chance of celebrating with their fans at home.

This match is certainly one of the best in the history of baseball, not only because it took 11 innings for the Cards to get the victory, but also because it was a very even one, and proof of that is the final score of 10-9, and also because St Louis was 1 strike away from elimination in two occasions during the game, which makes their win even more impressive.

No World Series has gone to a seventh game since 2002, and with the Cardinals holding the record for most victories in game 7’s, and the fact that they are playing at home, the Rangers are the ones with the most mental pressure after their defeat from last night.

The victory for the Cardinals came in the hands of David Freese, who scored the last home run of the night at the eleventh inning, and now St Louis’ manager Tony LaRussa is expecting the same kind of performance from Freese and the rest of the team at game seven in order to prevent Texas from conquering their first World Series title.

Cro Cop and Nelson: Old timers with a lot to give
Mirko Filipovic and Roy Nelson are entering their heavyweight bout from UFC 137 having lost 2 straight fights each, and both are also quite old, which means that this is possibly one of the last bouts we will witness from both of these great fighters, specially Cro Cop, as fans are expecting a lot of a man that was a legend before he even fought his first UFC event.

Third consecutive meeting between NBA parts today
Today it will be the third day in a row that both players and league representatives are going to meet in order to try to reach an agreement concerning the NBA CBA, but if today’s meeting is going to be a mirror of what happened yesterday, we cannot expect the sides to come up with a final resolution just yet, as even though they found some common ground on some issues, they are still not very clear on other important matters.
