When you take a moment to think about it, Castors really are everywhere. No matter where you go you are bound to find these tiny little wheels being utilized to make our lives easier. They have become so much a part of our daily lives that we don't even think about it anymore. Prior to the Castor, moving heavy objects around the home or business led to many a sore back and muscle strain. These small wheels are used for so many items that we tend to take them for granted. We want to explore some of the places you will find the castor and show you how they have altered our lives forever.
Many people visit fast food restaurants every day. You might not know it, but castors are very much in use in these restaurants. Many of the rubbish units in the dining room are equipped with these wheels so they can be moved out for cleaning. In the kitchen you will find the castor in use everywhere. The grills have these wheels for ease of pulling out for cleaning. Many tables have wheels for the same reason. The benches in coolers and freezers have them as well. In addition, cooler and freezer storage racks have wheels as do many prep tables. As you can see the castor is truly everywhere.
When you stop by your favorite automotive repair shop, you will find numerous Castors there as well. You will find them on the hand hydraulic jack used primarily for changing tires. In addition, you will find them on the huge tool boxes that are moved from vehicle to vehicle. There are also tables that are used to hold the parts as they work and parts bins where they get replacement parts. You will also find storage racks where parts are stored as well. The huge rubbish cans found in the garage environment will also have these little wheels.
What about when you stop by that local convenience store? That's right, they use them here also. When you go to the fridge to get a pint of milk you can often notice the many product racks in the back are on these wheels for ease of movement. In some cases they just push a rack up to the door and replace it with another one when it is empty. There are many racks in the back filled with drinks, milk, and other products to be sold.
As you can obviously see these wheels are everywhere. They make moving racks, tables, carts, and hand trucks full of products easy and proficient. Castors have been carrying the load for us for a century and a half with no end in sight. We should not take them for granted.
