Grocery stores are a part of our everyday life. Unless you are one of these really rich people that have someone else do their grocery shopping then chances are you are in some kind of grocery store at least once a week. We like our grocery stores to be well stocked so we can always find what we are looking for when we need it. But do you ever wonder how all of the food and other products stay stocked? Yes, we know that there are stock boys (and stock girls) who stock the shelves, but do you really think they are able to carry all of those boxes by hand? Of course not, they move all of the products with the help of hand trucks and carts that utilized Castors.

This takes us to the next question. How are those hand trucks and carts able to hold all of these products and still move with ease? It’s with the help of castor wheels. Castors come in all sizes depending on the item that they are attached to. They can be very tiny or very big. They are made in all sizes but they all have things in common. They will allow the item that they are attached on to move around with ease. They can handle a lot of weight and still move easily.

If you are not sure what we are talking about, take a trip to your local grocery store the next time they are stocking shelves. Look under the carts or the pallet jacks and you will see the Castors. They can be coloured or metal. They can look a little different than the next ones but they are all castor wheels. You will see how easily they move across the floor. You will see how great they are in helping the employee keep all of your favorite products stocked. It is so much easier for the employee to move the product to the floor and it is much more efficient.

They are not only used in grocery stores but also in places like department stores. In fact they are probably used even more in these kinds of stores. This is because they move so much more inventory. The Castors are making life easier for people all over the world in all different kinds of shopping stores. It allows employees to get out a lot more product in one day. This means more products on the shelves for you. So we are sure you can see how the invention of the castor wheels is greatly benefiting all of us in some way. Look around wherever you go and you will see these wheels everywhere.
