Poor Cat health can be easily avoided with a little attention to good cat care and will extend the life of your pet, and save you money on veterinary bills. Although most cats are strong and independent pets, they still need your holistic cat care or help to stay healthy and fit. The cat’s coat will tell you about its health. If the cat’s diet is good and it is in general good condition, the coat should be gleaming and free from dandruff. The cats eye’s should be clear and bright, with no discharge, redness or blinking. The tissue around the cat’s eye should be pink and not red. The cat’s nose leather should be cool and slightly damp. Often, you can only tell if your cat is sick by assessing how your cat normally acts and behaves. Your cat’s health rndepends on you, so don’t be afraid to say if you think something is wrong, no matter how small. The cat vet may only see your cat once a year, and will not know its general behavior. Make sure you note your cat’s behavior with regards to eating and drinking.
