Do you tell yourself each and every day to always think positive? Do you feel worse at the end of your day because nothing good happen to you after all the time and effort you spent on your positive thinking? This type of thinking can easily give you a bad attitude. The only way to fix a bad attitude is to try something different. Instead of just thinking positive all day, take action. Take action to make your life into exactly what you want it to be. You need to forget the positive thinking thing. Positive thinking only works for some people, not all people. Too much positive thinking makes you fall harder when nothing worth while happens in your life, or worse yet when something bad happens in your life. Iif you don't believe in yourself or your abilities, it's hard to correctly practice positive thinking. Your friends and family could tell you all day how great you are or how smart you are, but it won't matter until YOU believe how great you are and YOU believe how smart you are. Your belief in yourself and your abilities is the golden key to success. Your belief in what you are doing is what gives you that "I can do" positive attitude. It also gives you a drive for success. Your belief in yourself is what allows you to work two jobs while you save to achieve your dreams. Your belief allows you to put up with a jerk boss or a bad working environment and continue to maintain your sanity. But what if you don’t know how to change your life or what you can do different to become happier and more successful? How do you decide what to do next in your life? You don't. You look at your interests instead. List your interests and closely study each and every one one. Then take these interests and list your positive and negative experiences with each interest. For example, say you decide your main interest and your new dream is to open a motorcycle shop. Positive: you have ridden motorcycles since you were 4 years old, you can build motorcycles blindfolded, you currently work at a motorcycle shop, and you can talk about bikes all day long. Negative: you are 22 years old, you continue borrow money from mom and dad, and you have no idea what it takes to run a business. Now you can practice positive thinking for the rest of your day about owning your own motorcycle shop. You can then end your day with a bad attitude because you are no closer to your dream than you were yesterday. Or, you can take action.rnGive yourself an attitude adjustment and settle into the “I can do” mode. Then set yourself up to succeed by writing yourself a list of goals. What goals could you have for a motorcycle shop? Get creative and write down everything that comes into your mind. How about working two jobs and saving your money to acquire your shop. Or, how about building custom motorcycles in your spare time and then sell them at a profit. You could build a websites around motorcycles, selling parts and accessories. You could sell motorcycle parts and accessories at flea markets, shows, or even eBay. You could use your creativity and have custom designed tee-shirts printed very inexpensively on the internet and sell them at motocross races. There are dozens of ways to make money with motorcycles to allow you the ability to acquire the cash you would need to open your own shop. You must take action to achieve your dreams. Too many of us walk around like zombies. We do the same exact thing day after day. Our life is literally boring. We stop using our brain because we have done everything a trillion times and no longer need our brain. We need to focus on life and live it to its fullest. You need to get excited about your dreams and take the necessary actions to achieve them. Once you decide what you want to do, your bad attitude will cease to exist and you will have caught the “I can do” attitude. You will be excited to wake up each morning and be so hyper from your busy day that you will have a hard time going to sleep at night. Having an “I can do” attitude will automatically create an unconscious drive within you to succeed. This is when you really start believing in yourself and your abilities. As you accomplish your goals, your need to succeed becomes greater and you succeed more often. Just remember, you will not achieve all of your dreams overnight. Rome was not built in a day. But, once you begin to believe in yourself and your abilities, you will see your attitude change and you will become a much happier person. Most importantly, YOU will know you are on the road to success.
