Cell Phone Radiation: A Better Way to Minimize Your Family's Exposure

Why wait for government warning labels to confront what already seems clear: cell phone radiation isn’t good for us, and in some people may be causing brain tumors.
While the US Federal Communications Commission says current exposure guidelines are adequate, consumer protection agencies and ‘experts’ have at one time or another tried to convince the public that asbestos, tobacco, DDT and mercury were perfectly safe!
At long last, in May 2011 the World Health Organization classified radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF EMFs) as possibly carcinogenic to humans, based on an increased risk for a malignant type of brain cancer (glioma), associated with wireless phone use. Additionally, the American Cancer Society has listed cell phones on their list of possible cancer-causing substances because the RF waves emitted may increase the risk of brain or other tumors in the head and neck area.
With safety of all wireless devices coming in to question, more definitive warnings are surely on the way. In the meantime, let’s remember how many widely researched pharmaceutical drugs that were once approved by the FDA were later pulled from the market over safety issues. Sadly, too many.
Cell phone EMF emissions are the same as those used to cook food: microwaves. Most of those who still use microwave ovens don’t stand too closely to them for long periods, and they certainly wouldn’t put their head inside of one. This type of radiation, while not directly damaging to DNA, interferes with the bio-signaling systems of the human body.
Try it for yourself. Put your phone a few feet away and have a friend test the strength of one of your major muscles, by say pushing down on your strongest arm, straightened out in front of you. This is your baseline strength. Now use your opposite hand to hold your phone over your heart and do the strength test again - notice how weak you become? Cell phone radiation interferes with the natural EMF of the human heart.
Cell phones are even more dangerous for children, who have smaller ears and thinner skull bones, thus a much shorter traveling distance for cell phone radiation to reach the brain.
You can minimize your exposure in several ways:
1. Create distance between your phone and your body. To keep the phone away from the head specifically, use a hands-free device or speakerphone feature whenever possible.
2. Only make and take calls when you have a strong signal. Phones emit more radiation under weak signal conditions, and also when transmitting versus receiving. Tilt the phone away from your head when you’re the one doing the talking.
3. Switch your carrier from GSM to CDMA: GSM phones emit, on average, about 28 times more radiation tha
CDMA phones (J Moskowitz, UC-Berkeley)
4. Text more and talk less
5. Shield your phone with a radiation-reduction device
And what about those devices? According to Lifewave, a pioneer in leading edge technology for optimal health and natural healing, radiation meters reveal that about a dozen devices currently on the market offer little to no protection from exposure, despite their claims.
Small discs, chips and sticker-style devices purporting to block or dissipate radiation across many phone models, despite the wide variety in number and placement of antennas, simply don’t make sense. Likewise, claims of “over 99% radiation blocked” would require disruption to cell phone function, which does require some radiation for signal transmission.
Inspired by recently declassified military stealth bomber technology, acu-health pioneer Lifewave recently unveiled a new exposure-reduction device that maintains cell phone call quality: MATRIX.
Combining radiation absorption and deflection features, Matrix has been independently tested by SGS labs and shown to reduce cell phone EM radiation by well over 85% from both the back and front of the phone, with varying results by phone model.
Its thin design slips around the phone, allowing it to fit easily inside another flexible-style case. Launched first to fit the iPhone 4/4S, Matrix covers designed for the Samsung Galaxy, Motorola Razr and iPhone 3 models will begin production in May 2012.
How long does the Matrix phone cover offer protection? Answer: your LIFETIME. Priced comparable to a decorative phone case, it’s a one-off investment in your health that comes with a 100% money back guarantee.

How Hormones Control More Than You Think: Energy, Mood, Weight, and Sleep
Hormones play a powerful role in the body, influencing far more than most people realize. These chemical messengers coordinate communication between organs and systems, helping regulate everything from metabolism and mood to sleep cycles and energy levels. When hormones are balanced, the body tends to feel resilient and steady. When they are not, even small imbalances can have widespread effects. One of the most noticeable areas hormones impact is energy. Hormones such as cor
