Mobile phone technology is moving forward at break-neck speed, and sometimes we can see, but remember that just a few years ago and you can see all the new features of the market integration and race - the race "wow" customers and forcing them to choose a a device. But before we talk about current trends in the mobile phones and smart phones, we discuss the evolution of these devices.
Since I was one of the first cell phone "cell" - I would like to tell you a quick story to start this discussion.
My first mobile phones were a state-of-the-art at the time, but if you have seen today, you can laugh. One of them I actually keep, Mitsubishi Transportable. This phone is about six pack sized cooler that you can take your child's soccer game, and it was pretty hard, because I remember, it is much more than 10 pounds. This, of course, the battery capacity of up to 3 W handset.
Keep in mind that while lithium-ion batteries, just coming off the assembly line and it was quite expensive - it was nothing of this size, but NASA and military equipment. The original mobile phones, I had a nickel hydride relatively lower powered mobile phone of modern battery technology.
Mitsubishi Cell Phone Strap it on, so you can wear as a purse, and I often felt really stupid carrying it before he rang, and of course I unzipped the top, pulled the phone on the phone and started talking. I can recall that all stared when I was a secret CIA agent, worked in MI6, and my name is not Lance, it was really James Bond. You see, at that time not very many people have cell phones and they were very expensive.
One of my first phone Audiovox 1000 model, which was quite large and it was installed in my car, car phone - mobile phone. Box, which lasted for a cell phone was mounted under the seat, and there was a cradle to hold the headset. Headphones at home by telephone after the mobile phones. According to the seat box was about 3 1/2 inches tall and 17.1-inch screen size laptop.
This mobile phone or a car cell phone to connect directly to the battery to the fuse pair. When I turned on the vehicle, mobile phone will automatically turn on. If I turned off the vehicle, I had to leave the accessory with the right position, key, except when I left the phone, which passed the ignition. When the telephone rang and actually honked the horn, which got me into trouble a couple of times, when the horn went off while I was driving the police car stopped at the intersection. I have many stories to tell about all those early days of the first mobile phones, and you can e-mail me if you're ever interested in the experience.
Folks, all this for granted because they do not realize how complex the original mobile phones, or stupid, as they have been compared with today's smart mobile phones. Today, they give you a free mobile phone when you sign up for service - then you had to pay $ 1000 for car cell phone, and as a couple hundred dollars that it is installed. It was quite a procedure, if you have a stereo system and XM radio put in your car at the same time, it is about how much work it took to do it. Therefore, today's labor standards can easily pay three or $ 400. This is definitely something to think about it.
