Chaga Mushrooms and also called Inonotus Obliquus is a mushroom that grows on birch trees in the US and other areas of the world. It’s an interesting looking mushroom that looks like a piece of burned wood more than anything else. And the tea made from this mushroom can boost up our immune system, it’s very soothing for the GI tract, and heals many different diseases. In fact in Siberia it was noticed that people who drank chaga tea on a regular basis had a much lower incidence of cancer and stomach problems.

Making Chaga Tea - Take a silver dollar size chunk of dried chaga mushroom and boil it for 20 to 30 minutes in a liter of water until the water is nice and brown… then drink the tea as needed. Chaga tea will keep for long periods of time in the frig, but if the color changes add more water and reboil. And chaga tea tastes kind of earthy and very pleasant tasting, and it can be made into smoothies and other recipes… check on-line for chaga recipes.

No Side Effects - Chaga is a mushroom, a food and so far there are no real side effects.
