Is Your Problem Bigger Than Your God?

Problems. We all have them, be they health, relationship, financial or career related, life is full of these seeming nemeses that cause us pain and suffering. Problems exist in many forms and degrees of difficulty. Some are minor and have solutions that are apparent, while others are complex and baffling with solutions that seem impossible. Often we find ourselves in the midst of a problem for which no solution seems feasible. Well, there is hope. For every problem there is a solution. Some solutions are simple and some are not, but there is a solution to every problem, be it physical, mental, financial, family or career related, there is always a solution. God exists in the realm of spirit. We might call it the spirit plane. In this plane there are no problems! Think about it, God has no problems!
Humans live in the realm of materiality. We might call this the physical or earth plane. In this plane there are problems. Why? If we are created in God's image, why do we have problems? The answer sounds simplistic: because we, as humans, have a mind that contains error thought. We have a conscious and subconscious mind that has been programmed incorrectly. The result is that we perceive life incorrectly. The solution lies in our ability to transform our error thought into correct thinking.
An example of error thought is this: we believe that we are separate from God. Another example is: we believe that our problems have power over how we think, act and feel. And, another example of error thought is: I am a victim to the conditions of my world. With an outlook like this, there is truly little hope of working through the difficult problems of life. But with some corrective action, there is hope that we can transcend all of our problems. Let's look at things from a spiritual perspective.
We are created in God's image. But what is God's image? Has anyone see
God? God is pure unconditional love. God is spirit. God is the Initiative Creative Power of the universe. God creates all that exists, everything. God is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. As humans, we experience life through our five senses: sight, taste, smell, touch and hearing. If an experience falls outside of the five senses, then we tend to discount it as not being real. We want to label such experiences as miracles, paranormal or psychic phenomena because they do not fit our physical plane experience of the five senses. Experience tells us that there is more to life than what the five senses can perceive. We hear of supe
atural experiences almost daily. Even Hollywood is cashing in with movies like ET, The Sixth Sense, Phenomenon and more. Many friends, relatives, or perhaps you have experienced something that cannot be explained or described adequately, something that lies outside our five sense capability, yet the experience is very real.
If God is truly omnipotent, then what power does God not have? None. Omnipotence means all power. There is no power that lies outside of God. Is God's power limited in any way by the five senses? Hardly. Remember that God is spirit and exists in the spirit plane, which is not limited by physicality.
If God is omnipresent, then where is God not present? Nowhere. God, as spirit, is everywhere, including inside you and I and all life forms. God is life and is everywhere present. God is the Initiating Creative Life force behind every cell, every atom and molecule. If God is omniscient, then what knowledge exists outside of God? None. All knowledge exists within the Mind of God. God is infinite Intelligence. This means God does not have to go out and study a subject. It means that all knowledge exists within the Mind of God. The things we do not know, the things we are discovering through science, have always existed in the Infinite Intelligence we call God.
If that is the case, if God is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient, then there can be no problem in the Infinite Intelligence, the Initiating Creative Power of the Mind of God, or in the plane where God exists. And where does God exist? Everywhere! Even in us! Then why do we have problems? Because we believe we are separate from God. As long as we believe God is "out there" somewhere, we have cut ourselves off from God's omnipotence, omnipresence and omniscience. We must correct this way of thinking with a new thought that God is here now, in me. I am the living image of God in human form.
We need to bring God to our problems. The omnipotence of God is greater than any problem we may have. The omnipresence of God means our problem cannot exist out of God's presence and the omniscience of God means that there is a solution.
The Sun is the center of our solar system. Anything that comes near the Sun will be disintegrated from its immense power. Likewise, God is the center of our being. Any problem that is brought into God's presence and released completely will disintegrate. It will lose its power to affect our lives.
I have written a prayer treatment that can be used for the purpose of solving a problem. It is elsewhere in this newsletter. I recommend you use this every morning for the problem you are facing, be it physical, mental, financial, a loved one, a friend, an enemy, work or whatever. I also recommend meditation. Reread the preceding paragraph and use it in a meditation. Imagine God as the Sun and bring it to your problem and visualize your problem being absorbed by God's power. Imagine it disintegrating by the power of the Sun.
By correcting our thinking and bringing God to our problems, we will find that we have no problems that do not have a solution. There will be a solution to every problem we face. We will see that God is more powerful than any problem and we will see that we are not victims, but through the Creative Power of God within, we can transcend life's problems. Here is a prayer that can help you overcome your problem. There is One Power, One Mind and One Presence in this universe that I call God.
I know that this Power has all power and is therefore omnipotent.
I know that this Mind has all knowledge and is therefore omniscient.
I know that this Presence is everywhere and is therefore omnipresent.
The omnipotence of God means God is more powerful than any problem I have.
The omniscience of God means there is a solution to my problem.
The omnipresence of God means He is here, now - ready to handle my problem.
Therefore, I forfeit my problem to God. By bringing God to my problem, my problem dissolves and loses its ability to affect my life. I am happy, joyous and fee, because God has no problems and neither do I.
