Einstein said that "No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it"

We are often the last people to be able to see our own issues because we are living them. Einstein was saying that is not possible to change ourselves unless we look at the issue from a different perspective.

Change demands growth. I cannot be who I am and expect to feel differently unless I do something different. Insanity is repeating the same activity and expecting a different outcome. I need to explore other options, read other philosophies, discuss different possibilities, model different behaviours and in doing so, I will change my perception of the issue at hand.

The biggest issue for many who look at change is the fear of the unknown. I know the circumstances that I live in currently and although they are not perfect, I would prefer to stay here in what I know than to move into something I am not familiar with. This is the point that we start projecting all sorts of scenarios and ideas into the unknown arena, and scare ourselves so that we stay put. We do not like change. The problem with not changing is that you miss out on all the good things that you had not thought about in your projections- opportunities that could well improve your life and lead you to a happier place.

How many times have you looked back at an event that you thought would be the end of you, only to laugh because you survived it, it taught you some good lessons, and it turned out to be nowhere near as scary as you thought it would be!

What areas of your life could do with a new outlook? One area for me was my absolute lack of interest in all things technical when I wanted a website. The pain that I had to go through to understand what I needed to was not slight. However, I am now the other side and am really proud that I have learned what I had to in order to be able to publish my site. And, as is so often the case, what I was frightened of, turned out to be relatively insignificant. Most of what I could not do, I picked up quite easily. Is my life better now? Absolutely! I altered my perception by learning about what scared me. I had to change.

You can do the same! There are many products on my website below that can help you to overcome your fears or obstacles to living a fuller, happier life!
