If you’ve read our newsletter that went out today, you’re aware of the changes coming to the PMP Exam this August. If you haven’t then here’s some more information on what you should know about the PMP exam changes that take effect on August 31st, 2011…
On August 31st, 2011 the new version of the PMP exam will be released.Project Managers pursuing the credential or preparing for the exam in the upcoming year should be aware that approximately 30 percent of the PMP exam will change. Specifically, the Professional and Social Responsibility content area (Domain 6) will now be tested in every domain rather than as a separate domain on the examination.
What is important to know for students is the PMBOK version is not changing, it will remain the main reference for knowledge but the exam will also challenge students on their skills at achieving tasks such as the ones described in the new RDS and new PMP Examination Content Outline.
PMI normally only updates the exam only every 4 years because the PMBOK is updated every 4 years. The next update of the PMBOK is planned for 2013. This may be confusing for students preparing for the PMP because most think the exam is solely based on the PMBOK and this is not changing.
PMCAMPUS has already had requests from prospects as to where to find a 5th edition of the PMBOK and there isn’t one. The 4th edition is the most current and up to date version of the PMBOK.
Most of the students are not aware of the new RDS and new PMP Examination Content Outline. PMCAMPUS is updating our PMP exam prep courses and bundles and will include modified and additional questions to cover the topics that are in the the new RDS and new PMP Examination Content Outline as well as improved interface, navigation and more detailed study progress reports.

Why Lead Generation Alone Is Failing Solar Companies Without Appointment Expertise
Introduction The solar industry once believed that collecting as many leads as possible was the fastest path to growth. Marketing teams focused on filling databases with names, phone numbers, and email addresses. At first, the numbers looked promising.
