"YOU CAN ACTUALLY LEARN TO 'SPEAK FROM THE HEART' BY IMAGINING A SMALL MOUTH INSTALLED IN YOUR VERY OWN HEART. WHEN A CHALLENGING SITUATION ARISES, CONSCIOUSLY FOCUS YOUR MIND DOWN TO THAT LITTLE MOUTH. THEN, PUT YOUR TRUST IN THE GREAT SPIRIT, RELEASE YOUR PERSONAL FEARS AND COURAGEOUSLY SPEAK WHATEVER WORDS COME OUT … FOR THEY ARE THE WORDS WHICH, FROM A HIGHER PERSPECTIVE, NEED TO BE SPOKEN AND HEARD IN THAT SPECIFIC INSTANCE." — Chelle Thompson ©2007 Inspiration Line

"My dream for many years has been to empower people around the world ... to have everyone, everywhere recognize their innate worth. No matter what our environment has taught us, the Truth (with a capital "T") is that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, rather than the other way around." — Chelle Thompson Inspiration Line 6/27/05

"One of my most important realizations was that all life is a process, NOT an event. We often play devil's advocate to our greater good when we become impatient with the natural and gradual blossoming of our own consciousness." — Chelle Thompson Inspiration Line 8/16/04

"Learning to live our life with no regrets often happens after some painful experience that we couldn't take back. When we realize we could have acted differently, this important Awareness can guide our future behavior towards inner peace." — Chelle Thompson Inspiration Line 7/19/04

"For almost forty years I relied heavily upon my sense of deductive reasoning and logic. Thankfully, I chose to shift my approach to life and gradually learned to be guided by my intuitive nature. Today, I consciously operate in 'The Flow.' I avoid analyzing and dissecting most of the time ... which brings me more happiness than I've ever known." — Chelle Thompson Inspiration Line 12/15/03

"We all know the old adage that timing is everything ... the truth actually lies in learning to operate intuitively so we can 'hear' the pieces fall into place when the 'Universe opens to show us what is possible.'" — Chelle Thompson Inspiration Line 10/27/03

"There's no escaping it, the common denominator in each and every relationship that we have in our life is: OURSELVES. The person I am today is a direct result of my past experiences and the fact that I chose to pay attention and learn. When we stay conscious, we eventually recognize the gifts that all of our encounters have given us." — Chelle Thompson ©2003 Inspiration Line

As we become more aware and attuned to the multi-dimensional nature of both the Universe and OURSELVES, we create many opportunities for growth. An important aspect of growth is honoring the many facets of who we are. We cannot "hang out in the ethers" to escape Earthly events, nor can we deny that we are "spiritual beings having a human experience." Most of my early life I operated as a warrior who marched into situations braced by the armor of my convictions. Though this served me well in the past, I've learned that it is no longer necessary, or even desirable.

It's important, I find, to recall and re-use old tools that have proven helpful in difficult situations in the past. Sometimes we think we've moved so far forward that a "Been there, done that!" attitude clouds our memory and limits our options. Fear is an ongoing challenge in this world so we need all the assistance we can muster.

In the movie ‘Field of Dreams,” Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner) quotes author Terence Mann (James Earl Jones ) as saying: “There comes a time when all the cosmic tumblers have clicked into place — and the universe opens itself up for a few seconds to show you what’s possible.” In the film, Terence Mann also laments the tragic fact that most folks aren't even aware of that opening when it occurs, so they never walk through the doors that will lead them into their life's potential.

All of us will encounter toxic individuals and circumstances in our lives at one time or another. During those experiences we need to use whatever helpful tools we can find to stay balanced and clear about "who we are." One of the methods I use to maintain perspective is to create a "healthy level of detachment." Healthy, because I still have my heart engaged, but am detached enough not to be running amuck in an emotional minefield.
