Chasing The Internet Marketing Dream

Dear fellow Entrepreneurs,

Chasing the internet marketing dream has always been a hot topic while doing anything online, you can see the advertising everywhere you look. Lets face it, we are like kids in a candy store to those who understand how to market to the kids.

I have seen so many products come out promising the same thing, easy money without any effort and everyone of them fall short in one aspect or another. The truth is to make decent money online you have to do some work and develop some core skills.

Skills that will be needed or outsourced include web design, product creation, sales copy, autresponder or product delivery, and traffic generation just to name some of the most important. Affiliates do not need to worry about product creation and delivery but the rest should be learned.

Most of this information can be purchased but at a ridiculously staggering cost and in most cases the new internet marketer with limited funds ends up scouring the internet for free information which inevitably leads to the scammers. Now the scammer has a little army of unknowing newbies promoting his site. Yikes!

I am in the process of developing my skills to help those newbies avoid this name damaging practice because I know first hand that it's easier to start with a good name then it is to build a good name from a bad one. I promoted things that I wont even acknowledge now and it was a long struggle to get my name back to good.

If you concentrate on developing three main skills you will have an edge on the Internet that can end up letting you write your own ticket. Those skills are Web Design, Traffic Generation and Copyrighting. Even if your business fails, being an expert in any one of these three things will make you desirable to those who can't do them.

In my experience in Internet Marketing those who are successful have the same traits as those who are successful in anything. They like what they are doing which drives them to perfect it and they never quit trying. This is a key factor when starting any business in my opinion. If you do not like what you are doing you will not do it very long.

Take for instance, I found out I love Internet Marketing because I learned a ton of skills that I had no interest in just to figure out how to do it correctly. I actually took an online course for Foundations in IT Technology $4000 just to be able to create a webpage. If I knew then what I know now I would have learned WordPress right off the bat instead of spending $4000.

In this closing paragraph I will hopefully give you a gift that can actually change your life. We are products of our thoughts and the way we perceive our surroundings. Changing these core thoughts as well as the surroundings can change every aspect of your life for the better. Find positive outlets and media instead of watching the news which basically puts you in fear and hopelessness. The company you keep dictates your future.
