For the young at heart looking for some great surfing action, Playa Higüero at Rincón is where you should be headed. One of the best times to go out is betwee
November and April when the surfs is at its best. This is one of the most popular surfing beaches and has even got itself the nickname of "Little Malibu." The surfing quality at this beach is of international standards and it was even one of the sites for some great international competitions. Some of the best experiences here are that of 16ft surf breaks.

If you are looking for some great swimming, then you must visit Playa de Ponce in the southern region of Porta Caribe. This is located on the south coast and the tide is always peaceful out here. The location, Ponce is the second largest city in Puerto Rico and the waters are much calmer that those on the northern side. Navigating the clear, calm tides then becomes much easier.
