What to remember while doing hot yoga Drink plenty of water not just before, but at regular intervals during the period before you come to the class. If you feel dizzy, you are advised to stop and get back your balance by focusing on your breathing. Do not eat at least two hours prior to your hot yoga class. Once the class is over, drink water and replenishes the electrolytes lost with tender coconut water or an electrolyte drink. Be early for the class, so that you have time to communicate any issues to the instructor and also get acclimatized to the heat.
