If you want to pay only for the results, choose performance advertising. This is a form of advertising used in the World Wide Web. Check out different ways of doing that online. Find out about the advantages of this type of advertising. Models There are different models that people follow in performance advertising. One of these models is the Cost per Mille. This model is also called Cost per Thousand Impressions. When a person views an advertisement online, that is called an impression. The advertiser only pays for the impressions made in this type of model. Other advertisers prefer the Cost per Click model over the Cost per Mille. In the Cost per Click model, the person not only views that advertisement but also clicks on it. When a person clicks on an advertisement, he is taken to a different website. This website may contain more information about the product or service featured in the advertisement. The CPC can also be used when advertisers make use of search engine services. They decide on keywords that match their target market. When a user clicks on the link, he is taken to a website and the advertiser pays. Another revenue model is Cost per Lead. The advertiser pays for the leads that they get. A lead is data gathered from someone who is interested in certain products or services. These leads can be acquired when an internet user signs up and give information that companies want and need. For the Cost per Action model, the advertiser pays for favorable actions such as sales. This may be done through a transaction using the customer’s credit card. The goal is for the user to buy at that moment and to make that sale. Advantages In traditional advertising, the advertisers pay for the full services of the advertising agency. It may not matter whether they were able to interest the right people with the advertisement that was presented to a group of people.rnIn performance based advertising the advertisers pay for the results. That is why the advertising agency must make sure that the advertisement will attract users that will view or click the advertisement or even encourage the viewer to buy the product presented in the advertisement. The publisher or owner of the website also does his job so that he will be paid for the results that the advertisers are looking for. This type of advertising is advantageous to the advertisers because they are sure that their money does not go to waste. They pay for what they want to pay for. It is a cost efficient way of advertising. Another advantage of this type of advertising is that the advertisements are well-targeted. As the advertising agency creates the advertisements, they must get to know the target audience. This is important in creating advertisements that the target audience would positively respond to. Choose which of the pricing models would work well for your business. If you like the advantages mentioned, you may want to choose performance ad network.
