Choose What You Create and Create What You Choose Just about everyone you speak with would undoubtedly agree that Life is all about choice. We make choices constantly, each moment by moment and from day to day. Sometimes we make great choices and other times maybe not. Our ability to decide upon what is best is an inherent survival mechanism that prompts us as needed. In order to grasp a clearer understanding, it is essential to recognize that our choices are driven by an Avoidance of Pain along with The Seeking of Pleasure. It is very interesting to note that we can’t always predict whether our choices will bring pleasure or pain. This is what makes the human predicament so mysterious. The pleasure/pain principle governs all human behavior; however, let’s not underestimate the qualifying aspects of this dual construct. Both mental strength and the ability to tolerate discomfort are skill sets that complement one another. These are the resources that help us all to make wise, heartfelt choices on behalf of our Spiritual growth and Personal Development. It sounds fairly simple but what exactly might this mean? Mental Strength is a matter of embodying a Positive Psychology coupled with a commitment to oneself. Characteristic features of mental strength include attributes such as managing your responsiveness skills in order to replace immediate reactiveness. Oftentimes it is a matter of delicate discernment for deciding on what not to do when compared to available options for which you may choose. In order to choose what you create, you need clarity, purpose and commitment for any of your decisions. This is true even if it is something small and seemingly inconsequential or something on a larger scale that can truly change your life. This may entail an appraisal of calculated benefits and risks or it may simply be gut instinct that drives your inner energy when you feel something strongly.rnIn either case, your intention and vision reveals your purpose and this in itself is clarity. The level of commitment you are willing to offer to accomplish your goal, endeavor, project or mission is the reciprocal of what you’ll receive in return. Commitment is about honesty, energy and passion to stay the course of your goal(s). rnThese are the components that build upon mental strength. It’s up to you to prioritize your time and energy for what matters most to you. Genuine change or creation takes time to unfold. Your unique talents are waiting to be expressed through your Self-Signature. This is your highest Soul Calling while here on Earth. Trusting in your Sparkling Soul to manifest your heartfelt energy is what the essence of creation is all about. You choose what you create when you trust yourself. You choose what you create when you know it is for your good as well as the highest good on all levels. It is always a win-win situation because good begets good. As you awaken your soul contract (elegantly written by Caroline Myss in her book “Sacred Contracts” 2001) you share your Sparkling Soul with the world. It does take some courage to do this; however, this is your intrinsic nature of who you are. Your soul’s imprint is needed to share in its part of this universal benevolence. When you feel one with the universe and time seems to elude you, then you are in your essence. Remember that Your path has chosen you as much as you have chosen your path. You are a creator. All you need to do is to aspire to be you! Choose what you create, and create what you choose…. Most of all, you wouldn’t want to die with your music still inside you.

According to the spiritual science of Akram Vignan, the meaning of ‘selfless’ is to live one’s life for the sole purpose of serving others, by whatever means one can and according to one’s skill set and ability; and to do so without expecting anything whatsoever in return.
