Have you noticed your children when they are playing? Play is actually a way for them to explore the world and know about different things. By means of play, they also express their feelings and emotion. We often notice that boys love to play with cars, aero planes, guns and so on, where as girls love to remain busy with their Barbie dolls or stuff toys. A boy would never be interested in a game that girls love to play with. Through these, kids can make different shapes and things, and thus can use their imaginative skills. 2. Toys that Grow with Age- The parents often complain about the junk of play good that they have in their houses. A child may play with a toy for two or three days and then never touches that again. Kids grow and learn in a rapid pace. Thus what is unknown for them may become known after two days. So, always try to buy toys that your child can play with even when they become two or three year old. 3. Problem Solving Skills- There are many play items in the market that are available now days that can help your child to explore the world by their own. Such items also develop their problem solving skills and encourage them to think in different directions. Puzzles and art materials can be a good choice in this matter. 4. Toys that Spark Child’s Imagination- When kids become three or four year old, they started imaging their own world. The story books give wings to their imagination. Along with the story books, also provide them Dress-up clothing, blocks, toy food and plastic plates, action figures, stuffed animals and dolls that children can use in their own way. 5. Toys that Make child Active- Toddlers are doing all kinds of physical tricks as they are stronger and more confident with their bodies. Your job is to be an appreciative audience for your little one's newest playground achievement! Look for toys that help your child practice current physical skills and develop new ones. In fact, safe household items are often the best learning tools. Remember, the more your child has to use the mind and body to problem solve and develop own ideas, the more the child learns.
