So you've decided to take the plunge and open up your own bar? Whether you will be catering to young hipsters looking for the coolest hangout, work obsessed yuppies wanting to relax at the end of the day, poverty stricken students seeking a cheap drink and a crazy party or more mature customers looking for a high calibre venue for a special celebration, you definitely want to impress so your bar can become the most sought after destination after dark. So how do you do this? With some fantastic hospitality supplies, of course!

The list of products needed for your new bar can be very long, but it is important to select each item carefully to build the right image for your space. These products can include ice scoops, bottle sealers, wine chillers, cocktail shakers, bottle openers, glassware racks, syrup bottles and wine racks, just to cover the basics!

For hospitality supplies that will be used behind the bar only, your focus can be solely on practicality, but for items that will contribute to the 'show' of the bar you will need to consider the aesthetics of every purchase. Appliances such as fridges and bottle coolers will need to be the right capacity and efficiency to suit the size of your bar and the expected number of customers in one night.

When choosing hospitality supplies that will be used directly by the customer, such as glassware, crockery and other bar accessories, you should give careful consideration to the impression you are giving with your choices. Cheap and flimsy hospitality supplies make any bar owner seem stingy and under-prepared, and will hardly encourage the customer to feel like a valued and respected patron of the venue.

You shouldn't forget, of course, the heavy machinery. Appliances such as juicers, blenders and ice makers are vital in making the perfect drink, and will add to the variety and appeal of your establishment.

High quality hospitality supplies can transform the nature of any drink, making a standard cocktail seem a bit more spirited, a fine wine taste that bit more special, and a celebratory glass of bubbly feel as light as air! Having a good selection of products, especially when it comes to glassware, can give your bar so much more credible.

Just think of the difference between drinking champagne out of a standard student party red plastic cup, and a cut crystal flute, its devastatingly large! While you probably weren't planning on stocking your bar with plastic cups, you should consider purchasing some extra special hospitality supplies to complement the everyday fare for those high ranking events.
