Christmas, which is the time representative of time when the Savior was born, was put by the Church fathers at near the time of traditional winter solstice. Unconsciously or consciously, we do undergo the gyration of birth and death which goes on endlessly. More than anything, it remains important to understand that spiritual significance of the occasions where Christmas is to be celebrated and then a new year is to be welcomed in the best way possible. As far as welcoming the New Year is concerned, it is always best to do so in the best of spirits and do positive things so that the new times bring some optimistic changes in your life.
