Chronic fatigue syndrome is a condition which affects the recovery of person after a physical or mental activity|The revival of a person after a physical or mental activity is affected by the condition known as chronic fatigue syndrome| The condition known as chronic fatigue syndrome affects recovery of person after a physical or mental activity}. Usually after exerting ones self, a person need a few hours or a day of relaxation to get back to normal. However severe fatigue could last for a long period of time it the person in question is suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome. In addition to severe fatigue the person may also have symptoms such as an damaged memory or reduced attentiveness, a sore throat, feel muscle pain, get new headaches, not be able to have a refreshing sleep or have post-extertional malaise which would last more than a day. Much research has been carried out on treatments for chronic fatigue syndrome . Earlier, it was firmly believed that chronic fatigue syndrome was a psychologically based disease but experts now are of the opinion that it is a physical illness. The treatment for it is varied and depends on symptoms that are present since there is no solid evidence on the causes of chronic fatigue syndrome.The most frequent {methods used are to treat patients with trycilic antidepressants or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. One of the methods used today as treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome is exercise. It is believed that when a person is physically not active for a long period of time, it can lead to chronic fatigue syndrome becoming worse as it weakens the immune system, had an adverse impact on a personís mood and also strength. Despite not producing any conclusive results doctors sill recommend exercise as a treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome. The type of cure used for patients with chronic fatigue syndrome differs from case to case, depending on the patientís symptoms as well as their genetic nature. Individual treatment of the patients symptoms can improve his/her quality of life and make it possible for the person to cope with the chronic fatigue syndrome and live a relatively normal life. Chronic fatigue syndrome treatment is one that is being highly researched and investigated today. Cure for the syndrome is a subject of much debate and interest as there is no certain cure for the syndrome.For now the best that can be done is to manage the syndrome, so hopefully the future will lead to a discovery in which a cure that can eradicate it can be found.
