Church grants to serve the community better
If someone thinks that church can use the money it gets for social programs in paying its electricity bills, refurbishing old pews or remodeling its building then the person needs to revisit his thoughts. Church grants are not for white washing, painting or tiling the church building. The federal government doesn’t give its money for beautifying garden or including luxuries in the church campus. The fund, church gets from government and from other sources, is meant for public good. The good thing is that church understands its responsibility towards the society and it works to meet the people’s expectations.
Society looks at the church for help because it spreads message of love and works to make the world a good place. Deprived and needy people throng at the gate of the church hoping they would get some help from the church father. Since its inception, the church is extending a helping hand to the humanity. It goes everywhere whether it is a battle ground or a school to help mankind. Church grants are aimed to help this organization in its benevolent acts. It takes a lead when there is no hope.
Church has no means of earning money but it has a responsibility towards the society. It hosts meetings of minds and organizes Sunday prayers without any help but when it comes to undertaking a community program like opening school for poor children then it looks towards the federal government to release some church grants. The Grants.gov the US government’s funding portal where one can find all the details of grants for church. The church should act fast and apply for a grant as soon as it is released. The portal can tell clearly when the grants will be released from the government’s treasury.
