After more than a decade in health and fitness, one of the most common goals I encounter clients is weight loss. Easy to understand coming from a country where 30% of the population of our country is considered obese. So how do we solve this problem? Well, it's Difficult to tell where to start, just pick up any magazine at your local grocery store only to find 10/05 different fad diets, and several "ways to lose weight fast" type quick fix solutions. With so much mixed media, it is not hard to see why there is so much confusion! It's amazing, confusing and very frustrating for the average person to sift through countless pages of advice only to return and report to me "I've been doing cardio for months and I just do not seem to be getting anywhere." My goal here is to clarify some of this confusion and provide a solution to weight loss for the average guy just looking to keep fit and toned, not to become a bodybuilder, and not to run the marathon next, and is called training circuit. Many have heard the term before, few understand that. What most people fail to see when embarking on a journey to weight loss is the worst thing you can do is do the same workout day after day. Jumping on a treadmill for 30 minutes, keeping the same pace for the entire half hour will not yield maximum results, pure and simple. The human body is very smart and you will not trick it into burning stored fat just by jumping on a treadmill for 30 minutes. Not to mention this routine can get boring very quickly! Circuit training is an effective fat burning technique used by coaches around the world based on the basic principle of "muscle confusion". Keeping your workout 30 minutes in various movements and heartbeats that throws your body into what we call "fat burning mode", allowing the individual to get the most out of these 30 minutes. Incorporating 03/02 different workout routines, with little or no rest in between is extremely effective in increasing the rate of one heart and these exercises can be done only with your own body weight. Also, never training circuit allows the body to adapt time. The body, being a complex machine that is always trying to find ways to adapt and take the path of least resistance. Because circuit training is constantly changing, your body never has a chance to adapt and revert to homeostasis, rather than remain in this "fat burning zone". So instead of jumping on the treadmill at your local gym or sitting on a recumbent bike for 30 minutes, give circuit training a try! It is guaranteed to take you off this plateau and results that you never could have predicted! Not only will you be burning fat, increasing metabolism and conditioning of the cardiovascular system, but you'll also be getting the healthy muscle tone and definition. Stop being the average Joe or Jane and try something new to take their health and exercise routine to a new level!
